Fiona Brown - thnak Mary it was great to see what is being taught in terms of aborigianl work in the primary schools and compare it to what we teach in high school religion units thanks

I am amazed at the talented group of teachers that we have in our schools. The pedagogy that is evident is at the forefront of education. The QTF is evident in the schools and this can only led to improved student outcomes.

The Conference has provided the opportunity for the skills to be showcased

What a great way to take the aboriginal perspective to our children.
Earth google is a wonderful resource with wide applications.
Sound pedagogy was in evidence during this discussion.

Thank you, Mary! I have now discovered Google Earth - and I am going home to play with it. Mary encouraged us to give our students a visual and cultural background to indigenous artists through photos and websites. She showed some fabulous resources.
I am determined to take lots of photos on my holiday in October to Broome and maybe I'll be able to set up a podcast to share!!!!

The session with Mary was fantastic. I love the way that Mary used GoogleEarth to connect kids to country. Thanks for the great ideas.
